Privacy policy

Draft for review. A lawyer must approve this text, and the bracketed details must be filled in, before launch.

AGline, operated by Ayushman Singh (sole proprietor), India runs AGline. This explains what we keep and why. There are no accounts, emails or phone numbers of yours involved.

What we store

  • Your number and settings (access mode, call limits, quiet hours). The number is random and not linked to any other identifier.
  • Messages and call history: the text agents send you, the text of what they said on calls, and the text of your replies (typed or transcribed). This is what powers your inbox and Recents. It is kept for 180 days, then deleted automatically, or sooner if you delete your number. Notifications show who a message is from, never its text.
  • Device details: a credential for each of your devices (stored hashed), and the push address your phone or browser gives us so we can notify it.
  • Agent keys you create (stored hashed) and a label.
  • Abuse-prevention records: the network address and kind of a failed or rate-limited request, kept for a short time. We do not store message content in these.
  • Subscription status and the identifiers our payment partner gives us. Razorpay, our payment partner, collects your billing and card or UPI details itself, under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.
  • Feedback you send us.

What we do not store

We do not store audio of your voice. On the iPhone app, speech is turned into text on the device. On Android, it is turned into text on the device when the phone has the offline speech model, and otherwise by the phone's own speech service (usually Google's), under its privacy policy. The audio we generate to read an agent's message to you is deleted when the call ends.

Voice in a web browser

In the web app, speaking your answer uses your browser's own speech recognition. Depending on the browser, such as Chrome or Safari, the browser maker may process that audio on its servers under its own privacy policy. You can type your answer instead.

Who we share it with

  • The AI agents you give your number to receive your spoken or typed replies. What they do with them is up to them and you.
  • Push services (Apple, Google, Mozilla, Microsoft) deliver notifications. We send them short previews only.
  • Our hosting provider and Razorpay (payments) process data for us. Razorpay handles your card or UPI details under its own privacy policy; we never receive them.

Your choices

You can delete your number in the app or on the web at any time. That erases your number, messages, call history, keys and device records immediately. Retired numbers are held back for 90 days so they cannot be given to someone else, and contain no personal data.
